After over 8 years catering to anglers from around the world, my passion for the hospitality industry and all that it represents in service elegance, comfort, amenities, culinary delights - in a peaceful and tranquil setting - has not diminished with the passage of time and remains as strong as ever. I strive for excellence at all times and at every level and believe that my enthusiasm for my country and my work is apparent to all my visitors. I also expect no less from my staff. Casa Vieja has a magnificent history starting as a private vacation retreat to one of Guatemala’s most prominent sporting families from a long-gone era, which we now recapture and offer to you for your delight and relaxation. Last year we began a complete renovation of the Casa Vieja which included the addition of four rooms and extensive landscaping. The project has already proven itself to be a resounding success and the transit went smoothly without a hitch. We pay extraordinary attention to achieving, for you, a feel good factor, an important feature of an angling vacation. Our newly remodeled bedrooms were created with your comfort in mind, and our menu options run from the classic sporting lodge cuisine through to relaxed and traditional Guatemalan delicacies plus local seafood selections - offered in our air conditioned common room for you dining pleasure. Our improvements continue on a regular and ongoing basis. Exciting and innovative feature events occur year round, from afternoon mariachi bands playing poolside to hosting international tournaments. Our programs are diverse with your pleasure and satisfaction always in the forefront of our minds.
